It is a very small shark.

Despite its abject lack of size, the Tiny Shark is a voracious predator of the few fish smaller than itself. It is, however, incapable of being more than a nuisance to human swimmers.

Even with a rather ornery temperament, the Tiny Shark is a common pet for keepers of exotic fish, likely due to the inherent appeal of owning a pet shark. Even one as small as the Tiny Shark.
