Further Notes on Smashing

Things that are going continue to go.

As an update to yesterday’s post about getting Fryte’s Gold ready for Smashwords, I have just finished the preliminary formatting of the manuscript.

To quote Al Gore: “This calls for a celebration.”

I think?

I hope.

And, yeah, it was still exactly just as much of a pain as it was yesterday. Again, it’s not hard, just finicky and tedious and slow.

I need to keep reading through the style guide document to see how much more I have to do, but at the very least I’m more done than I was yesterday.

I’ll keep you updated as progress, uh, progresses and will no doubt make a big deal out of it finally going live on Smashwords. Expected release date still TBD.

And, on the plus side, I have thus far resisted the urge to start smashing my computer…

But, seriously, though, I hate computers and the last couple days have done nothing to change that viewpoint.
