Art to Go with Gods of Egypt

Inspired by (and for the purposes of promoting on Instagram) my post on Gods of Egypt, I did an Egyptian mythology-inspired drawing of Anubis.

Inspired by (and for the purposes of promoting on Instagram) my post on Gods of Egypt, I did an Egyptian mythology-inspired drawing of Anubis, who I’m pretty sure is the Egyptian god most visible in the modern popular consciousness.

Largely due, I think, to being one of the coolest-looking Egyptian gods.

Though, for what it’s worth, while he was in Gods of Egypt (and was probably one of the better-looking instances of CGI in the movie), he didn’t really do anything. Though he was accurately depicted as escorting the newly-dead to have their souls weighed to determine their entrance into the afterlife.

Up next, a samurai to go with my post about 47 Ronin.
