
So, I’m not thrilled that this has happened twice in the same week, but, once again, I’ve been working slower than I wanted and have almost missed posting for two days in row.
On the other hand, I’ve had this for a while and haven’t had the opportunity to post it yet, so, silver lining and all.
This is a word cloud — “tag cloud” seems to the proper word for it, because my understanding is that they originated with tags on websites — that I did for a school assignment last year.
It’s tracking the frequency of the words used in the text of Fryte’s Gold, which you can start reading here. Bigger words appear more frequently, and it’s not exactly surprising that the three most common are “Kat”, “Dunstana”, and “Captain”.
Anyhow, here’s another pretty phoned-in post, but it’s a pretty nifty visualisation of one of my stories.
