I’ve been focusing on other things lately, so it’s been a while since I’ve posted some art.
This has been on the back burner for a while, but it’s finally ready to go

The big takeaway here is that horses are hard to draw. Nevertheless, this is still probably one of the better horses I’ve managed.
Also, I’m still having trouble with my Fill Tool not feeling right up to the lines of my art, leaving weird little gaps in the colours. But I actually kind like how it looks like that, whether or not it’s supposed to be doing that.
It gives the art a little texture and also makes it look like it’s been coloured in by hand, which fits with what I’m trying to do with my art style.
Like I’ve said, I’m trying to go for an art style that captures, or at least invokes the look of Medieval and Early Modern illustrations and printings — remember, of course, that Realmgard is more or less early 1600s Europe.
