The Right Socks for the Job

“Don’t you mean watermel-”
NO.

So, after a couple of false starts thanks to various real job and real-life stuff, I’ve finally been able to sit down and start with this round of edits for The Alchemist of Middlesbrooke.

The way I see it, this is the last round of edits before going through final formatting and proofreading.

All of this is to say, I’m clearly wearing the right socks:

J.B. Norman's socks. They look like waterlemons.

I couldn’t have found a better pair of socks if I tired.

And while I will admit that “waterlemons” did start as a typo, I’ve since embraced the idea of “a lemon inside a watermelon.” Which is uncannily what these socks look like.

Again, not deliberate. I just bought a set of funny socks that includes this pair or… whatever these are supposed to be.

So, no, I don’t mean “watermelons.”

Stay tuned. Alchemist soon.
