The beloved rabbit stuffy of Sally Lyte, the youngest Lyte child, Count Bunnyescu is seldom seen without his owner. Sally has owned Count Bunnyescu since shortly after her birth and has cherished the rabbit doll ever since.
Originally a vivid blue, being much-loved by Sally has left Count Bunnyescu threadbare and faded to a sort of vaguely bluish grey, though Sally’s fondness — and perhaps obsession — for her stuffed companion remains undiminished.
According to Sally, Count Bunnyescu deplores dishonorable conduct and is man of integrity and courage and a comfort to troubled souls. Sally demands that her beloved rabbit companion must be shown due deference.
