Art of Captain Goblinbeard.
Age: 41
Occupation: Quintessential pirate
Likes: piracy, affecting an air of pirateness, plundering
Dislikes: public speaking, divulging personal information

Daughter: Lena Goblinbeard
Nemesis: Jehan-Picard Souricier

Legal name: Goblinbeard, comma, Captain
Conspicuous in its absence: any discernible facial hair…
Fraught: relationship with his daughter

Eagerly embracing the piratical trade after purchasing his own ship and hiring a crew, the pirate currently known as Captain Goblinbeard had his previous name legally change to “Captain Goblinbeard” upon joining the Brotherhood of the Coasts. While not necessarily an outright secret, his former legal name is not widely known and “Captain Goblinbeard” is generally the name the other pirates of the Brotherhood know him by.

Affecting an aura of deliberately emphasised — and some might say exaggerated — pirateness, Captain Goblinbeard is known for his idiosyncratic mannerisms. Despite adopting what is generally held as the archetypal Pirate Voice, even among the Brotherhood, few people have heard a pirate who actually talks in such a manner.

Captain Goblinbeard’s lack of facial hair is a constant source of consternation among the other pirates of the Brotherhood. Similarly, he chosen profession and affected persona are a constant source of consternation for his daughter Lena.
