Enrolled in the Brotherhood of the Coasts’ Mentorship program, Uiliema “Billie” Hawkins has been assigned the eccentric Captain Goblinbeard as her mentor. Despite those eccentricities being immediately obvious and boundlessly numerous, Billie has been adjusting well to life among Captain Goblinbeard’s crew.
For their part, the crew of Falchion has welcomed Billie aboard, impressed by their young crewmate’s aptitude, professionalism, and ability to translate their captain’s orders into clear, comprehensible language. In light of proving her abilities so quickly and decisively, Billie has already been trusted with many important duties aboard the Falchion. This is despite being the most junior member of the crew.
With no family history of piracy, Billie’s parents have been rather bemused by their daughter’s sudden desire to become a pirate. While Billie’s parents are broadly supportive of their daughter, the specific nature of her chosen profession is a constant source of worry. Billie has been left to address her parent’s many concerns about her safety and wellbeing as a pirate. For the most part, she has managed to succeed.
