Eagerly embracing the piratical trade after purchasing his own ship and hiring a crew, the pirate currently known as Captain Goblinbeardhad his previous name legally change to “Captain Goblinbeard” upon joining the Brotherhood of the Coasts. While not necessarily an outright secret, his former legal name is not widely known and “Captain Goblinbeard” is generally the name the other pirates of the Brotherhood know him by.
Billie Hawkins
Learning from the Best?
Enrolled in the Brotherhood of the Coasts’ Mentorship program, Uiliema “Billie” Hawkins has been assigned the eccentric Captain Goblinbeard as her mentor. Despite those eccentricities being immediately obvious and boundlessly numerous, Billie has been adjusting well to life among Captain Goblinbeard’s crew.
Dunstana Darkstone

Captain Dunstana Felicity Darkstone is the young scion of a long line of pirates and the most recent successor to the legacy of the famous Guillaume d’Arquestone.
Thanks to the piratical influence of her father in her earliest formative years, Dunstana’s chosen career was likely inevitable from the very beginning.
Myra Morningstar
Less stoked to be Dunstana’s Mentor
A recent graduate from the University of Porthaven with a proven aptitude for history, Myra Dawn Morningstar made perhaps an unorthodox career choice, acquiring a ship, hiring a crew, and proclaiming herself captain of the Red Wolf Pirates — she thought up the name herself.
Ultimately, this was inspired by Myra’s interest in history. Specifically, her own family’s history. Myra’s grandfather has entrusted her to carry on her ancestor’s piratical traditions after they were neglected in recent generations and to restore her family’s faded honour and glory on the high seas.

Lena Elizabeth Goblinbeard did not choose being named “Goblinbeard”. Being named “Goblinbeard” choose her.

Kat Darkstone
Basically Just Along for the Ride
By birth the eldest daughter of a famous pirate from a family of pirates, Katherine Hortensia Darkstone did not inherit her ancestors’ affinity for the sea.
What she did inherit, however, is the Darkstone family’s typically prominent eyebrows.
In a perfect world, Kat would spend most of her days lounging in peace on her beloved plaid couch. In the actual world, Kat faces the reality of having a little sister pirate and a nightmare of a middle name. Nevertheless, Kat lives her life with an unshakeable sense of cautious optimism: she can only find herself facing certain doom so many times before her luck starts to turn around.
