The short version is that Realmgard will be going on hiatus for the foreseeable future.
Yes, that means I’ll be posting significantly less content going forward.
No, this isn’t forever, and I don’t intend not to post anything during this hiatus, however long it lasts.
The long version is that I’m starting to realise that I need to significantly gear down how much blogging I’m doing. The various plans I’ve tried to implement since the end of 2024 to try to conserve my time and energy aren’t really helping.
What I really need to do at this point is prioritise the behind-the-scenes aspect of my writing. Namely, actually writing new stories and working on my revised versions of my old stories.
And maybe even rehauling the Realmgard website.
Like I said at the top, that doesn’t mean I’m going completely radio silent or not posting any new content at all (in fact, I have a few ideas for new posts). But it’s going to mean that I’ll be posting once or twice a week, rather than a couple times a day.
I’ll also be checking in regularly to provide updates on my progress, especially in regards to my plans to set up a Patreon and publish audio versions of my stories.
Right now, the best place to follow me is through my Emona Literary Services™ pages. Please especially consider subscribing to my Substack newsletter — which you can find along with all my other major socials via my Linktree.
Again, this isn’t forever, but I’ve gotten to the point where I need to step back and do something different for the sake of my own mental health.
And make sure to take care of yourselves, too.
