Up to now, I’ve tried to do a 30-day daily writing exercise every quarter. I’ve fallen a bit behind because I’ve actually been pretty busy since the end of the last one. On the one hand, I’m not thrilled to have my established pattern disrupted. On the other hand, the silver lining is that at least I’m busy working.

What I’m planning to do this time around is yet another Worldbuilding-focused on — comparable to my 30 Days of History in November 2022 and my 30 Days of Natural History from this June, with the eventual goal of adding these 30 write-ups to the Encyclopedia Realmgardica.

What I want to do this time around is write quick biographies of some of Realmgard’s most important people. I’ve mentioned before in some of my stories that the current Prince of Porthaven is a woman (“Prince” being gender-netural in this context), so I figured I could hammer out who she actually is as part of this.

Of course, I’m already foreseeing that I’m going to have trouble finding 30 people to write about, but we’ll fall off that bridge when we get there.

I’ll be posting both the first biography and the master list I’ll be filling out over the next 30 days later today.
