The 49th Grandmaster of the knightly order properly known as the Free and Sovereign Fellow-Soldiers of the Wolf on Mount Lykos and commonly referred to as the Wolf Knights, Edvard Stern was born into a well-connected family active at the Ducal court of Middlesbrooke and received a comprehensive education in both the arts and military matters.
