Science has an armillary sphere because “armillary sphere” is a great word.
Those two good-looking ladies are Science and History — though, technically, “Scientia” and “Historia” translate to something closer to “Study” (or maybe “Research”) and “Inquiry” (or even “Narrative”). And they are your guides to the Encyclopedia Realmgardica.
Now, in brief: if they’re a Realmgard character, they’ve probably got an Encyclopedia entry. Or at the very least, they’re about to.
And, of course, since Realmgard is always growing, so is the Encyclopedia.
In fact, it’s getting big enough that I’m probably going to have to start breaking it up into smaller subpages to make it more manageable.
