Lucia, Apolline, and Petra have been hired to escort the daughter of one of Porthaven’s most prominent Wilderling citizens as she travels to attend the University of Middlesbrooke. The three adventurers have been warned that her father’s business rivals have been planning to kidnap her and extort her father. Indeed, Petra’s keen Amazon’s sense have detected enemies stalking Ulrika, the girl in question from her very arrival in Middlesbrooke.
Though, as the girl in question is a sea urchin Wilderling, she’s actually defending herself pretty well. Without even really trying. A bewildered but largely unharmed Ulrika is surrounded by would-be abductors, though there is very little actual abducting happening.
“Grab her!” one of the bad guys cries.
“I’m trying! She keeps poking me! And it really hurts!”
