As Lucia, Apolline, Petra, Alda, and Roland round the corner in the dungeon depths, a weird, wet sound comes around the corner from the opposite side as a big green blob wobbles its away down the dungeon hall crawling along like a slug.

“Eww,” Lucia says, instinctively shrinking back from the thing. She doesn’t want to have to clean… whatever that thing is out of her hair.

“Oh, a Blob,” Apolline says. “They are quite common in the ecosystems that develop in abandoned Human settlements.”

“Are they dangerous?” Alda asks, pre-emptively stepping behind Petra.

“They certainly aren’t aggressive,” the Aurorean Sorceress notes. “They’re very simple organism and scholars generally don’t think they’re capable of particularly high functions. If they are dangerous, it’s mostly because they’ll just keep doing they’re thing without even noticing you’re there.”

“Like, um, like that?” Alda asks, pointing to where the Blob is right about to wobble right over Lucia.
