“Torpedo fish? You really think people would take a crew called the Red Torpedo Fish seriously?"
Kat expects to see a few things typical of most of the caves she’s explored in her time as an adventurer. As it happens, they find none of those things...
“There is yet one more battle to be fought,” he announces. He raises his sword in salute, before pointing it towards Kat. “Prepare yourself, my lady.”
The entire room shakes. The room shakes again. And again. It sounds and feels like the footfalls of some huge monster.
There’s almost certainly something magical afoot. Kat starts to feel nervous at the thought. In her experience, inexplicably magical rooms tend to be a Bad Thing.
Kat sighs wearily. Why does Captain Fryte hate her? Why do all his doors need to be locked, barred, and surrounded by traps?
“I think I’ve figured out where we are.”
There is nothing else to do but go forward.
