Castle of Cagliostro is about a gentleman thief hunting down a legendary treasure; I write about a little girl pirate hunting down legendary treasure. Six of one, really.
"Man, this would have made an awesome anime".
Basically, Gods of Egypt has two speeds: Generic and Forgettable, and Actually Kinda Cool.
On the list of things I expected to see in the news this week, "Lord of the Rings anime" was definitely not one of them...
Watched Raya and the Last Dragon yesterday, have some thoughts about it.
To clarify, when I say "Tolkien", I mean the 2019 movie, not, say "everything Tolkien actually wrote."
