So, here’s Duchess Sofia, the wife of Duke Charles of Middlesbrooke and legal guardian of Roland and Alda.
In a vacuum/at a glance, it’s a good picture. But the fact of the matter is, I completely borked some of the layers in the Affinity Photo file, so I can’t actually make some of the changes as easily as I should.
FYI: if you’re at all into digital art, my free advice is to keep track of your layers.
So, basically, I’m going to restart the whole thing to make the changes I need to.
Yeah. You read that right.
I said “welp.”
That’s, like, the one 21st century slang word I actually now how to use.
Which is, of course, the bee’s knees.
Which is, incidentally, the one piece of early 20th century slang I actually now how to use.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to ride trolleys, hunt down stolen Maltese falcons, and tie an onion to my belt. Which was the style at the time.
