
A major player in maritime trade like nearby Arrow Head and the Free Cities further east, Albatross Bay was able to extend its trade routs further inland by funding the construction of a canal to Crescent Lake, allowing its merchants to more easily trade with the inland settlements without middlemen.

The city’s emblem reflects the city’s connection to the sea and bears the image of its namesake bird — though many of the unaware believe that the emblem is, in fact, a seagull.
